Summer Morning Houston Engagement at Hermann Park

Katie and Graham |

I remembered meeting Katie at another wedding I photographed, she was the cutest thing with tinsel in her hair! You can imagine how excited I was when she asked me to photograph her wedding too!

Saturday morning I loaded up and headed to Hermann Park in Houston, one of my favorite locations for an engagement session. Katie and Graham walked around the park while showing me all of their favorite spots. I loved getting to know them and hearing their love story. How they met in college and how they had so much in common.

They were reminiscing about the memories they had, like the cross-country starting line photo that they were in together many years before actually meeting. It was all so sweet to hear. The coolest part for me was the history they shared at this very park. Their sweet stories of walking through the park before Katie headed off to work at the zoo and their recent proposal in the garden! This was such a perfect location for their engagement photos. The fact that the park is a gorgeous backdrop is wonderful, but the history that these two have here makes is so sentimental. I know that when they look back on these photos they will not only remember the time we melted in the Houston Texas heat, but also when our hearts melted with the sweetness of the special moments they have had at this park.

We are one step closer to seeing this sweet sentimental couple walk down the aisle.
